This will come as part of Firmware 3.0 already. Two MIDI CC's have been added as shown below.

Thanks for creating the topic
Unless someone makes a case against it, this has a very good chance of being implemented at the next release.

Re: [BETA Available] Firmware 3.0
Does/will the U-Sync software require the midronome be plugged directly into the computer, or do we think it may still function through a midi matrix like the mio? Hi Zach :) This is not something we have tested but feel free to try! In my experience though, the simplest USB setup the better. So id...

Re: Cue MIDI Notes/CC Quantized to Start of Bar
The SysEx idea is a good thought but it might mean more physical clutter with an added computer to program and send SysEx via USB What if you could send it from another device over a usual DIN-MIDI cable? If you are already adding a config-by-software to the interface and it's relatively simple to ...

Re: Cue MIDI Notes/CC Quantized to Start of Bar
Ok thanks for the feedback :) I checked the video as well, very interesting feature indeed. Very niche, but I can understand how there could still be quite a few situations where this is helpful! This is simple and quick to implement, my only worry is about cluttering the interface with too many fea...

Re: How to send tempo/start/stop to Midronome from hardware?
What you are looking is MIDI Start, as stated in the manual: MIDI Start : reset/rewind the clock ** and start machines on MIDI Port X * * Port X = Port 1 and 2 if the setting PLA is set to “bot” (both), otherwise Port 1 only ** This is indepedent of the rES setting. But note that resets are not poss...

Re: Cue MIDI Notes/CC Quantized to Start of Bar
I am not sure I fully get this, you want to send one MIDI Note message or one MIDI CC message on the start of the next bar when you press a button/pedal? (like the same way the "PLAY" button does with a MIDI Start message?)

Re: Tell Midronome to Stop drum machine?
My sequencer software now includes as available devices MIDIOUT2 (Midronome) , MIDIOUT3 (Midronome) , and Midronome . There is no MIDI Out 1 or MIDI Out 2 listed. I tested CC# 103, value 11 with each of these, and the device called Midronome is the one that worked. Yes that makes sense, it's like o...

Thank you Larry for creating a topic about this - let's see what people think!
How would you suggest the user interface for this to be? Just a hidden setting where you can set MIDI OUT 1 to be x2 or x0.5?

Re: Tempo lock via knob not working
Hi Stephan :) Thank you for pointing that out, I can see this information is missing the User Guide, I have now added it ;) You can only use the Locked Mode if you are not enabling any external sync, meaning: inP setting is not set to 24P or 2.4.P. The Midronome is not connected to the plugin via U-...

Re: [BETA Available] Firmware 3.0
I'm actually pretty excited for the "combined" 24P/2.4.P. mode, as this (if I understand correctly) allows for immediate start upon receiving pulses (like 2.4.P. always did) and also us Midronome as master clock when you're not sending it pulses form your DAW (like 24P always did). Correc...

Re: traktor devices not being detected when midronome connected over usb
Hi David, Any news about this issue? The USB-MIDI interfaces have changed in FW 2.0, and again in FW 3.0 (first beta released today). FW 3.0 solves in particular this bug (which is a macOS bug and not a Midronome bug, but changing the USB-MIDI interfaces worked around it). This might help with your ...

err: "why CC 103 doesn't transmit through the Midronome host port of mioXM " Should have said, "why CC 103 is not received via the Midronome host port of mioXM" Ha yes that makes more sense. But yea this could be a lot of reasons. My guess is it has something to do with the fact...

Re: How to send tempo/start/stop to Midronome from hardware?
In any case, starting with Reset On aka "rewind" would be a suitable option for me. I'm not sure what you mean but check the Midronome User Guide, there are quite a few options to start/stop/rewind depending on which message you send, I believe you'll find something that suits you ;) Simon

Re: How to send tempo/start/stop to Midronome from hardware?
Hi :) Yes using the "Midronome Commands" USB interface is the way to go, and yes unfortunately since the device does not have any DIN-MIDI input, for now this is the only way. Hardware add-on modules will eventually come out, one of them will be a MIDI input module so you can send these sa...

Thank you Novoline for this long and thorough information! :) It would be a useful feature I agree and you make something very good points ;) It's still in my mind to implement it eventually, maybe Firmware 4.0 or one after that, things just take time. So far no ETA or roadmap for this. Cheers Simon...

Ok I see, yes that might be the issue
Let me know how it goes, and just an idea: try deleting the Midronome from the Windows Device Manager then unplug/replug to clean it, it could also be the source of the problem.

Re: Syncing OXI ONE to Midronome
As a trouble-shooting effort, I want to disable the midi-out via USB on the Midronome , but I couldn't find how to in the manual. So I came here to ask if it's possible and how to do it. I am not sure what you mean, you want to disable the USB communication, or the clock on the DIN-MIDI ports? None...

Re: Tell Midronome to Stop drum machine?
Hi John Yes that should definitely work. Please check that you are sending to the right USB-MIDI (Midronome Commands and not MIDI Out 1 or 2). It sounds like you are sending the correct MIDI message (see attachment). What happens when you press the play button on the device, does your drum machine s...

Re: Getting the Midronome to follow SiparioX
Can I use any external audio click to sync Midronome? Or do I have to use MidroSync File Generator to generate a specific audio to sync it? Any sharp audio signal sent at 24ppq (every 64th triplet note) will work. Yes you can use the MidroSync File Generator, that will work as well. A metronome is ...

Re: Getting the Midronome to follow SiparioX
Hi :) No I'm sorry but it cannot, and if it could it would only create problems as syncing with a MIDI Clock sent over USB is generally a bad idea. The Midronome works best when it runs as a master, so if you can rearrange your setup to make it the master, it's definitely better. In case you really ...

Re: [F] Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
Ha ha yes I forgot quite an important thing: all sync modes start right away now, so the 2.4.P. mode is not necessary. But in any case with Firmware 3.0 you'll want to use the new fancy stuff instead of 24P mode... he he very exciting things you'll see
