[DONE] Change ANLG speed via USB-MIDI CC Commands

Hey guys

This is a suggestion from Fables of Silence from the Facebook group.

The idea is to have another setting on the pedal, which would increase the speed of the ANLG clock (same as changing the An.1 or An.2 setting). When the speed is 24 and the pedal is pressed, the speed will go back to 1.

I would suggest the following possibilities, for both the PEd (pedal 1) and PE.2 (pedal 2) settings, on top of the values already possible (Mute, Play and Tap Tempo)
  • An.1 -> the pedal acts on Analog output 1 only
  • An.2 -> the pedal acts on Analog output 2 only
  • An.b -> the pedal acts on both (=b), i.e. on Analog output 1 & 2
Anybody interested?

Cheers
Simon

I think it doesn’t need a two port option. Analog clocks can easily be split with a stackable cable. Keep it simple.

Also, I think a catch-up mechanism would be most suitable. The pedal does nothing until the currently set value is reached, or alternatively, it will scale. Pedal up should always be 1, and down 24. Optionally, a max value would be lovely. In our live set I was using values between 1 and 12 at max.

It'd also be nice to have this be changeable via a CC message on MIDI channel 12.

That's atually a very good idea, and very easy to add :)
I added a topic in the Potential Features: viewtopic.php?t=248
This is implemented in firmware 2.0.
