Re: Send MIDI Clock from the USB port
Great idea about the two virtual ports!
Problem is more the hardware but if that's sorted might as well make two virtual ports instead of one

Re: Tempo presets
Thank you Danno for writing the suggestion here :) This has been indeed spoken about. I really like the detailed workflow and idea, and this will definitely be considered :)) Thinking about the discussion Niall put here with David - https://forum.midronome.com/viewtopic.php?t=35 - receiving MIDI clo...

Re: Nudge tempo function
Hi :) Thank you for writing! Do you mean pressing on the knob instead of pressing the tap tempo button? If so, that would work, the current knob we have is quite "tough" (on purpose), and I personally would find it relatively hard to press and turn at the same time. We can leave this to th...

[DONE] Send MIDI Clock from the USB port
This one is pretty easy: the USB port on the device would also be used to send MIDI Clock to your DAW, or any software that would accept it. Notice that with the current device, all you need is a simple MIDI to USB cable to be able to do this, for example this one: https://www.thomann.de/intl/midite...

Current features - your thoughts
Hi :) Just wondering what you guys think about the current features set (yes sorry the list is long ha ha :D ). CLOCKS Ultra-low jitter MIDI Clock - 2 ports Two CV/Analog clock Possibility to adjust CV clock from 1ppq to 24ppq Possibility to choose between CV clock sent constantly or only when press...

Expression pedal to change tempo
This would make one more usage of the "INPUT" of the Midronome, where you would be able to connect an expression pedal, like the ones you use with electric pianos or wah guitar effects. In the setup of the Midronome, you would select input, then expression, then you would be able to calibr...

Re: Time/Time Zone for March 15 Launch
Hi :) I did think about people from the American continent and yes it would not be fair to open the campaign while you’re all sleeping :D I was thinking setting the time to 18 Danish time (GMT/UTC +1). That would make it 9 am in California and 12 (noon) in Detroit. Do you think that’s fair? :) /Simon

Re: sync to harddisc recorder
Oh interesting the Zoom R20 I did not know that one :) Clearly inspired from their LiveTrak models actually - just with (a lot) less options. I actually had a look at its manual, and it seems you cannot route separate tracks to outputs or headphones - otherwise you could have used one for monitoring...

Re: sync to harddisc recorder
Hi Trigga Thank you for asking here :) It will work if you can send a sync track from your Zoom device. Say your device has at least one physical output that you are not using, and you can somehow load a WAV file which is sent to that physical output (and nothing else is sent there), then you have a...

Re: Using the audio input...
The drummer of my band uses the big knob on the midronome to do precisely that, mid-song. During a certain section of a song we gradually ramp up from 160 to about 170/180 bpm. It took some getting used to and I have to say we do all play with click on our ears, but it's certainly doable! Oh - I di...

Re: Using the audio input...
I think that the idea of adjusting tempo manually during performance is next to impossible - any natural excitement would be killed by having to remember to up the bpm... That's literally the whole reason I created the device in the first place - to go up and down as you "feel" the song, ...

Re: Using the audio input...
Hey Niall :) You're not the first one to ask about this - basically what you want is some form of tempo detection from normal music/audio. That's a whole new level of complexity which the Midronome does not do - yet at least :D I know Ableton has a feature like this called Tempo Following - I've nev...

Re: controlled by daw? what about gear?
Hi :) The first question in the forum! Thank you for that - it's a LOT easier to manage questions here than the tremendous amount of mails and facebook comments I am getting :D Regarding your question, I'm a bit confused - if you already have a MIDI Clock, what do you need the Midronome for? Oh I th...
