Multiple devices on Windows
Following on from comments in the FB group, here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/midronomevip/permalink/1279939782906074 about Windows handling of multiple of the same devices - Although the Device Manager may show each instance of identical devices on ports, the OS doesn't differentiate between th...

Re: Mute does not mute, it blinks and put play and stop when pressing
Maybe you have settings for alternative use of some buttons. Check p.11 of the manual to see some of the choices, and compare to your device.

Re: Length of Sync File
Probably I'm remembering wrong, and / or I read it wrong, bit I think someone mentioned looping in this context. Not sure if DAWs can loop a section of just one track, but do you think that would work, Simon, just looping a few bars of the sync for the duration of a song?

Re: Greetings from the first "Saffa"
Hey Wolfie,
I'm going to have to try out that "Saffa" bit on a colleague. If he doesn't punch me, I'll know it's legit!
Cheers from California, where some of our budgets are tight, too, believe it or not.

Re: Disable master mode when syncing to DAW
Hi, Yes, that explains it very well. I'll have to play with the DAW to see if there's a convenient way to delay track starting after pressing play, but still outputting a clock signal. So far, in the songs I've made, all the tracks begin right at bar one (on a side note, as a non-musician, I haven't...

Re: Disable master mode when syncing to DAW
What you describe makes sense, regarding how the unit would function, and I agree that would be better for a DAW setup. However, maybe my limited experience is making some things difficult to comprehend. Why, for instance, would the Midronome not immediately catch the incoming clock from the DAW? Tr...

Input combinations
Your info describes the input as allowing one or two pedals, or audio sync or drum pad. Does the audio sync require both sides of a balanced connection? If not, could a Y-cable be used for one pedal and one audio sync source from the DAW, so that the pedal can be used for start/stop, or mute, indepe...

Re: Independent Stop/Starts on Chained Units
Yay a UX expert! And YES absolutely that helps a lot! These days I am so focused on reaching 100% on KS, but when (if? ) we make it, then I would love to discuss this with you and few others UX experts we have in the Midronome Insiders ;) As for you question - no it is not bidirectional, one...
