Re: Feature request: more Resync options
About request 1) Awesome! Hope so see a fix soon, as the TR-8S goes out of sync every time you send a program change to it (which is actually a bug Roland should fix, but it would be great to have the Midronome as a savior :)) About request 2) Yeah, I would love to have it as short as possible. But ...

Re: Resync does not work with Roland TR-8S
Maybe it is easier to reproduce like this: Start Midronome to send clock to the TR-8S. Then manually press Start/stop twice on the TR-8S, so it is clearly out of sync with the clock of the Midronome. Then hold the Start button on the Midronome to resync. The TR-8S should resynchronize to the clock, ...

Re: Audio Sync in Ableton -> latency compensation
Yes that would work as well, but you will have to manually adjust the latency every time a plugin adds more latency. The External Audio Effect just avoids having to hassle with adjusting latency alltogether. You should only use a regular audio track without External Audio Effect when you monitor on ...

Re: Audio sync without 1 bar delay
Makes sense. But maybe you can just send midi start and spp0 at the first pulse and then send the first midi clock tick as soon as possible after that. This will result in a slightly delayed start, but (correct me if I'm wrong) this will be corrected at the very next clock tick, right? So we will ha...

Audio Sync in Ableton -> latency compensation
I just saw this video instruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-tWpy4XJIY But what is not counted for in that video is latency compensation (when you’re monitoring/recording your instruments in Ableton). So whenever there is latency added on any other tracks than the Midronome track, the audio ...

[DONE] Feature request: more Resync options
Feature request 1: The resync feature (hold the play button while already playing) does correctly resync my Hapax, but it does not resync my TR-8S. The resync feature only starts the TR-8S if I first manually stop it. It seems the TR-8S does not recognize the reset message or something? It would be...

Re: Audio sync without 1 bar delay
I understand that Midronome needs to calculate the BPM and also determine the correct step in the bar first before it can start correctly, but in a DAW environment when working on a track, you are usually working on the same track and starting/stopping the track over and over again. Most tracks have...

Re: Audio Sync Specification
Hi Simon,
Why does the Sync file generate a blank space in the beginning? Can't this just be deleted?

Re: Tempo from 3 to 999
Deluge also supports extreme BPM values, which is fun to experiment with : you can get FM type of sounds with just a single drum sound and extremely high BPM. Be aware that a lot of gear have a maximum BPM though, most won't go higher than 300, so if you try to send it a higher BPM clock, it will ju...

Pieter there published a nice Ableton "sync device" which seems to be what you describe.

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
Cool! I’m using Ableton as well, so that would be perfect for me.
But what about my idea of using a drum rack with the single pulse sounds loaded, which are triggered by a looped midi clip? Would that work?

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
I actually created an account just for this. I too would love to see a simple plugin, so you can easily load it in your project and change tempo easily without the need to render new audio files etc. I fact, I also currently have a USAMO and hoped this could replace it, as it has a couple of other n...
