Re: Very loud hum in audio output when connected to computer
Thanks for the additional information. That Arturia Anti-ground loop adapter bundled with the keystep 37 seems interesting. Too bad they're not selling it as a spare part. Greetings, Olivier The Keystep 37 adapter works well - plus, by having the Midronome connected to the computer, it will also po...

Re: MIDI Forwarding from USB to MIDI-DIN
Seems like, during testing, that some capacity testing would need to be done to get an idea of just how much other MIDI data can flow through each port without disturbing the clock. This'll surely be asked, otherwise. Automation of many parameters of a DAW VST editor out to one or more synths would ...

Re: CV output is noisy?
Am I using the wrong type of cable? Is there a way to reduce the "noise" on the Midronome side to just the clock pulses? Hi Dave Yes that's unfortunately true, it's caused by a ground loop, which makes the Midronome's display noise take the wrong path. Basically that noise should be on th...

CV output is noisy?
I connected the CV out to my Erica Synths Acidbox 3 CTRL IN port in order to sync the Acidbox 3 LFO. However, the connection generates a lot of noise. It's like the AB3 not Midronome, but.... I have a MIDI2CV device that I send quarter notes to from the DAW that converts it to a gate pulse, which al...

Re: Sync file generator: 96khz?
I think converting a file from 48 to 96 is done pretty well by DAWs, isn't it? I would guess they basically double each sample? If that's the case then yea it should just work. Have you tried? Thanks! I haven't tried yet. It's a bit of a small project to disconnect the USAMO and replace it with the...

Sync file generator: 96khz?
I see the sync file generator can only output 44 and 48khz files. Will these work at 96khz or do I need to wait for an update? Thanks!

Re: Sync File Generator - auto file names suggestion
Can the bpm of the sync file be included in the file name? That way, if I choose to generate a bunch of 7 min sync files for the bpms I most commonly use (until the plugin exists for Studio One :D ) it's easy to keep them in a directory and just grab the right one. Which bring to mind another featur...

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
You all make a very good point about the plugin - practicability is important I get that. But the reason for all these (empty space at the beginning, at the end, using a WAV file instead of a plugin), are because from my experiments DAWs have the habits of often sending not the audio that is writte...

Shipping
Hi. Is anyone in the US willing to say how long shipping took? I received the notice 11 days ago, and the non-descriptive shipper web site says it’s been on a flight for 4 days. Just wondering at what point I should be concerned. Thanks!

Re: Can't sync my DAW
Hi, I've generated a sync file and have it outputting from Logic directly into the input of the Midronome. Normally, from what I gather, I'm supposed to see lights: either green or red, to adjust the input level with the SYn on? No lights come on and It won't sync. Any help here would be greatly ap...

Re: Merger - Hub
That's awesome to know Dave thank you so much :) I guess unless you really flood the MIDI merger with MIDI data, then yes the MIDI Clock messages should not move too much, or at least not enough so you can notice it - so that makes sense ;) To be specific, I have a Kenton MIDI Merge 4 going into a ...

Re: Merger - Hub
Well I usually say it does not, but I guess you example prooves me wrong  But I would still say in most cases it's fine, just avoid chaining too much, use a MIDI Thru box instead, the Motu Micro lite for example. In your case try to remove the one device (the FM3 it sems?) that affects the clo...

What comes in the box? Does it come with a USB cable?
Hi Simon. Suggestion: on the tech specs and maybe elsewhere I suggest telling people what comes in the Midronome box. Is it just the hardware? Does it come with a USB cable for power? Etc.
