Re: Please Help _total Noob! :( Exploding Brains.
Hi, just follow the steps in Simon's video CAREFULLY. Pause the video after every step in order to understand every single step he does. AND set the "volume" / gain on your interface output to VERY "loud". If your ears don't explode it is not loud enough  and y...

Re: Still strugglign with Midi Jitter/Delay in Ableton
Hi there,
Here are the "best" YT videos I've found so far dealing with latency in Ableton Live:

Hopefully they are useful for you as well

Re: Metronome subdivision
8th metronome click would be complementary to a native x/8 signature support as discussed there:

I like that idea, too.

It sounds useful, but it would be good to have the option to toggle the screensaver on/off in any case.

Re: VST3 Plugin support for x/8 time signatures
Good Morning Simon, THX a lot! My thoughts: I think x/8 are relevant as well ... though beeing not so heavily used in comparison to x/4 measures. They give a quite different feeling / groove: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/w0gUW4yOxHU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P45jlDNTf5Q So IMHO x/8 is a grea...

Re: Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
THX for reporting!
Now I know why mine flashes with the same sync setting 2.4.P. and A.PL = On, too.
However I didn't care.

Re: Hi there, top first experience with FW 2.0!
Hi Simon, yes and yes!
My interface is a Focusrite Clarett+ 8pre. Nothing special but not cheap as well. My usual headphone volume on its output one is around 9 o'clock.
Edit: Time signature change via MIDI over USB as shown in your last video works, too.

[DONE] DAW Plugin support for x/8 time signatures
Status : implemented in v1.1.0 of the plugin. Download it on https://midronome.com/support ------- Hi there, I've "learned" from other postings that Midronome is not able to support x/8 time signatures natively and that only x/4 signatures can be supported. I'm just thinking loud whether ...

Re: bpm formula for converting 6/8 time signature into x/4 on Midronome?
Thank you! I'll try it.
Now I'm just thinking loud whether the VST3 plugin could be upgraded to detect a x/8 time signature and send its 24 PPQ signal with the corresponding "suitably multiplied" tempo to Midronome.

Re: Hi there, top first experience with FW 2.0!
Thank you! I had time to test the sync by using the VST3 (audio track only) for Win and it worked reliabely: I routed its 24 PPQ signal to the second headphone output on my interface and then to Midronome's input via TRS cable. Using mono or stereo tracks/channels on Ableton made no difference. Wort...

bpm formula for converting 6/8 time signature into x/4 on Midronome?
Hi, In this forum I've found a posting that Midronome cannot be switched to x/8 time signatures but it should be possible to use the x/4 time signatures after adapting the bpm. Could an expert please post the bpm formula for the usecase "convert a 6/8 time signature at 120 bpm to the correct x/...

Hi there, top first experience with FW 2.0!
Hi Simon and fellow Midronomists! Received my Midronome today, updated from FW 0.1 to 2.0 and had a very pleasant first jam synced by Midronome. My first setup with Midronome: Microfreak, Roland T-8 and S-1: I've connected a Kenton MIDI Thru 5 to Midronome and routed the MIDI clock and transport mes...
