That is very strange indeed. Are you sure the only thing which has changed is the Android version? Can you try with other USB devices, for example an audio interface which has some MIDI ports? I took advantage of building a brand new TD50KV2 for the ship, so I can showcase how my usual setup looks with the added midronome and tablet. Note, the midronome now sits atop of the drum module, obstructing few function buttons, but nothing essential for performance.

You're essentially asking if Midronome can be the master clock, while receiving the sync signal from the DAW at the same time. It is contradictory.
