I took advantage of building a brand new TD50KV2 for the ship, so I can showcase how my usual setup looks with the added midronome and tablet. Note, the midronome now sits atop of the drum module, obstructing few function buttons, but nothing essential for performance.

You're essentially asking if Midronome can be the master clock, while receiving the sync signal from the DAW at the same time. It is contradictory. If I can just add a question about this... I'm using a different app (android based) and would like to send tempo changes to the Midronome. Which MIDI channel is used to do this? There are only cc commands stated in the manual, but no specific channel.
