Re: Jitter using as master clock (hardware only)
Update: May have found the cause in a Beatbuddy Setting. Under the MIDI Output settings, you can have it set to MIDI Merge, Out, or Thru, in addition to enabling/disabling sync (on behalf of the Beatbuddy). So far, choosing MIDI Merge and disabling sync, allowing the Midronome's clock to pass throug...

Jitter using as master clock (hardware only)
Hello, I'm trying to use the Midronome as a master clock source to send clock to a Beatbuddy on DIN output 1, which is then synced to my Boomerang Looper. On DIN output 2 I have it hooked up to a synth arpeggiator. However, I've noticed the loops slowly get out of time when using Midronome as a cloc...

Ways to Sync Analog Modular Synth with Midronome Tempo?
I've seen similar posts about this topic, but wasn't able to figure anything out based on them. I'm quite new to modular synths, having just got a Moog Mavis for Christmas. After a little time messing with it, I thought about the possibility of syncing the LFO Rate to the Midronome's BPM. Not sure w...

How to link tempo knob to DAW tempo (before hitting play button)?
Is there a way to have the DAW tempo change in sync with (and as ) I turn the Midronome knob? My settings right now is 24PPQ, using Midronome as external clock in FL Studio. When I change the tempo in FL, the Midronome adjusts its tempo accordingly, but when I change the tempo on the Midronome, FL's...

Re: Suggestion For Both USB-MIDI [IN] to Send Start/Stop
Yeah, I'm not sure why it creates the conflict. I didn't consider it might only be an exclusive (mis)feature of FL either. Do other DAWs tend to allow sharing the first input with other software without error when using it for master sync?

Re: Suggestion For Both USB-MIDI [IN] to Send Start/Stop
Yeah, so like I use the first interface as the external master clock in 24PPQ, which sends start/stop + tempo to transport in FL. Then I use the second interface for Mobius, so that it essentially takes the same tempo running from the Midronome as transport. Think of it like two virtual cables, one ...

Suggestion For Both USB-MIDI [IN] to Send Start/Stop
I think it would be handy to have an option for the second MIDI In interface to also send start/stop commands in addition to clock like the first one. The particular case this is useful is for specific plugins where you can send clock tempo, but that also react to start and stop commands. For exampl...

[R] Missing "Midronome Commands" Interface in FL Studio
Rejected : on Windows the USB-MIDI Interface is simply called "Midronome". ---- Short description of the issue : The "Midronome Commands [OUT]" interface is not showing up as an option in the FL Midi Device selection window. It looks like the other two [OUT]s ARE available. http...

Re: Missing GUI When Loading Plugin in FL21
Oh ok, that makes sense! Seeing that's the case, I notice that you have the volume level in the Focusrite for DAW3 turned all the way down. Is that on purpose/essential to it working as a balance between the interface level and DAW track?

Re: Missing GUI When Loading Plugin in FL21
No, I might be confused watching the Ableton tutorial where it looked like there was one. Is that just a mixer plugin you have in the video where you choose "DAW3"?

"Full Stop" vs. "Pause" in DAW
I noticed that with setting Midronome as the Master in my DAW (FL) on 24P, the play button will execute start and stop commands as expected, but when it is pressed to stop, it will pause playback partway in the playlist, rather than a global "full stop," which would reset the marker and se...

Re: Audio Sync Track Necessary?
I’m using FL, which doesn’t seem to have ARA support. The only way is to put the sync clip on the mixer track, which is inconvenient when there are tracks of different lengths playing, or tempo adjustments. USAMO’s plugin seems to generate the audio sync track similar to how the ARA plugin does and ...

Would appreciate the option to disable the 1 Bar Sync Delay for audio sync, as my looping gear sometimes needs to begin synchronizing in time with the start command.

Audio Sync Track Necessary?
Just wondering if it's necessary to have the audio sync track playing with every new project/tempo, or if it needs to sync only once? USAMO has a plugin which adapts to tempo variations by way of its plugin software, is there a way Midronome could do the same?

Any way to configure Midronome to "drive" DAW clock sync?
Basically, what I have in mind is to use the Midronome to provide the master tempo for Ableton, as well as other external gear, by acting as the main synchronization hub for all things clock related. Ableton would be more like an instrument in this case, and all other gear would come back to the Mid...

Re: With the Midronome as master, does its sync carry through to devices receiving the DAW’s clock?
That makes sense, thanks for the reply. On a similar note, would a device that's synced via my interface's MIDI Output be cleaner with Midronome as master? So Midronome -> DAW -> Digital Sync Tickbox -> Interface (Scarlett) MIDI Out port cable -> synth, for controlling its arpeggiator. Essentially t...

With the Midronome as master, does its sync carry through to devices receiving the DAW’s clock?
Sorry for the weird phrasing, but essentially I’m wondering if a controller like the MPK MINI MKIII, which receives the DAW clock to sync its arpeggiator, would be more precise if the Midronome is sending the clock as master? Or would the Midronome not affect the MPK’s timing accuracy at all?

Will the Midronome include internal virtual jitter-free ports?
Let's say Midronome is clock-slaved to my DAW tempo (FL Studio), and I want to send clear audio-sync clock timing through a virtual MIDI port (such as loopMIDI) to another software or plugin from FL. As of now, I am using an USAMO to get my hardware straight, but it does not address the jitter betwe...
