Re: U-SYNC for Windows
Well f*%#. If I’m going to shell out for a new Mac just to get this I might as well get an ERM instead. Disappointed. Windows 10 Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 and 26 If I’m being honest and U-Sync was available upon release of the product when I backed it and it was Mac only, I wouldn’t have gone through...

Re: [F] Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
Ha ha yes I forgot quite an important thing: all sync modes start right away now, so the 2.4.P. mode is not necessary. But in any case with Firmware 3.0 you'll want to use the new fancy stuff instead of 24P mode... he he very exciting things you'll see :D :D Oh okay awesome! Looking forward to it S...

Re: Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
Status: solved in Firmware 3.0 by removing 2.4.P. mode entirely. :? But...the mode was the only mode I use! How is that solving anything? If it's either a blinking button or no mode I'll take a blinking button! Please tell me there's another mode replacing it that has 24p sync with no 1 bar delay?

Re: Suddenly devices are restarting after 1 bar
AH HAH! Yes that was it! I checked the sync settings and I for some reason had MIDI being sent to the Midronome. No clue when I changed that but after disabling it now works as it used to work.
Thanks for helping troubleshoot Simon!

Re: Negative Offset/Shift/Latency
Whoops! I thought it was someone else.
So being able to offset one of the MIDI outputs won't be available on the base unit (if the feature is implemented)?
I don't use Ableton Live so I can't do that and Bitwig doesn't have track delay.
I just may need to figure out a workaround for it.

Re: Suddenly devices are restarting after 1 bar
1. The plugin starts sending audio at first bar 2. The Locked LED lights at the start 3. The play button is blinking during the first bar and is lit at the second. 4. I tried it with a different device (Digitakt, no Overbridge) and it does the same thing. 5. Yes this works but everything is delayed ...

Suddenly devices are restarting after 1 bar
I have been using 2.4.P. successfully for a while but just today I was getting a strange behaviour. The Midronome is synced via DAW plugin using 2.4.P so there's no count in but the devices being synced (Octatrack mainly) will start when I press play in the DAW but then restart after 1 bar. The beha...

Re: Negative Offset/Shift/Latency
By positive shift do you mean it plays sooner than the other port or later? Personally I need one port to play before everything else but I'm not OP.

Re: Negative Offset/Shift/Latency
Just came here to add my request for this too When recording the Digi boxes using Overbridge for audio, due to the single tracks coming out the plugin there's a delay. If the timing of the sync could be shifted + then I could nudge it until the recorded audio is perfectly on time. There's no way to ...

Re: Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
I guess the blinking is just very distracting to me. Is there another way to indicate being armed without this? Could the display show ARM instead of - - - ?

Re: Midronome PLAY flashes after DAW is stopped when using 2.4.P.
Not even sure if it's a bug. What I did notice is that it won't play or send clock if I play the DAW and it's not in this flashing mode. So when it's not flashing it takes me two attempts to play connected devices.

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
Ah, okay… Or do you mean the Drum Rack solution? Because it’s not a Max device that I was thinking of. Oh maybe that's what it was, sorry. I'm not a Live user so I didn't try it and commit it to memory what exactly it was. Maybe someone should reach out to Ned Rush for the M4L work. He could probab...

This sounds like it would make the device work more akin to the ER-M Multiclock like I feel so many of us were hoping for (a more affordable version).

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
@LunaticSound You could write the audio from the tool and just crop them out? It's two different pulses but I don't know the ratio between them. Someone has already made a M4L and a Bitwig Grid patch that work but I haven't tested either (I would try the Bitwig one). The very expensive E-RM Multiclo...

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
You mean the ARA format? Yea that's true. But they can both sync to MIDI Clock though. Yes they can but I cannot test that because my play button does not work... so I don't even know if that will work for me. I'm confused with the plugin - doesn't it just need to spit out a pulse that is synced to...

Re: Daw Sync Plug-In + Usamo comparison
Damn, neither of the two DAW's I use support this obscure format (Bitwig and Reason). I mean Bitwig just jumped on the CLAP bandwagon and Reason just got VST3 support so chances of either one adding this format (within the next decade) are probably slim. Unfortunate...

Re: Device will not enter bootloader mode
Enter bootloader with the broken play is tricky but doable. Just follow the enter bootloader instructions and trigger the play when power on using the method you figured out. I had to short some pins on the board manually. At least firmware got updated but I still can’t really use it as the daw sync...

Re: Sync File Generator - auto file names suggestion
@Dave I was suggesting that some info be added automatically to the generated files but as @Simon mentions it becomes difficult when using tempo files with bpm changes (what the app currently does). I did also ask the same regarding multiple files in one go. I think a bpm into the name even with tem...

Re: Sync File Generator - auto file names suggestion
I wonder if it jumps when going from file to file because of the DAWs timestretching or auto fades on audio clips (if enabled). There's also the fact that the end of the file might have extra padding that needs to be trimmed? Need to test it.
